Answers to common questions about your collection.

Using Sonra

How do I import my music?

Open Sonra and choose Import Songs. Select one or more audio files using the Files picker. Sonra copies the files into its own local storage, then reads their track information and artwork.

Why can’t I import a file?

If the file is stored with a cloud provider, first make sure it has downloaded in Files. Check that your iPhone has enough available storage for a local copy. Try importing a single file to help identify the problem.

What audio formats are supported?

Sonra lets you select audio files through the iPhone Files picker. Playback depends on the file’s encoding and device support. A verified format list will be added after release testing.

Why won’t a track play?

Check your volume and selected audio output, including connected Bluetooth or AirPlay devices. Try another track. If only one file fails, check whether the original file plays correctly before importing it again.

Does offline playback need the original file?

Sonra copies imported music into its local library. Once the import is complete, playback uses that local copy and does not need an internet connection.

Why is artwork or track information missing?

Sonra reads artwork and track information embedded in your audio files. Files without those details may appear without album artwork or with limited information.

Still need a hand?

When you get in touch, include your iPhone model, iOS version, and what happened. There’s no need to send your music files.
